When it matters
Make the technology easier to manage.
An environment can keep sending email while becoming difficult to manage. Staff may share passwords, files may sit in personal accounts and former employees may retain access. Purchasing a subscription does not resolve these decisions. Clear ownership, consistent configuration and a documented process make the platform easier to support.

Accounts and email
Set up individual user accounts, business email, shared mailboxes and access permissions. Review domain configuration and mail flow so staff can use the right address without sharing a personal sign-in.
Licensing that fits
Review roles and required features before recommending subscriptions. Check existing assignments and unused licences, with security and device-management requirements considered alongside familiar Office applications.
Identity and administration
Configure multi-factor authentication and separate everyday use from administrator access. Where appropriate and correctly licensed, use Conditional Access to apply access rules suited to the business and its devices.
Files and collaboration
Establish a practical structure for Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive. Define where business records belong, who can access them and how external sharing should work, rather than duplicating folders across accounts.
Staff and device changes
Build repeatable onboarding and offboarding steps, including access removal, data handover and device preparation. Device-management capabilities depend on the chosen subscriptions and supported devices.

Backup and retention needs are considered separately: cloud availability, synchronisation and recycle bins are not an indefinite recovery plan.

Do we need to change our subscriptions?
Not necessarily. A review establishes which features are already available and where a licence change would solve a real requirement. Recommendations are explained before purchasing decisions are made.
Can you support an existing Microsoft 365 tenant?
Yes. Nexxiv can review and administer an existing tenant with authorised access. The initial scope considers its current configuration, domain ownership and any arrangements with another provider.
Is our Microsoft 365 data automatically backed up?
Microsoft provides service resilience and recovery features with defined limits. The business still needs to decide what it must retain and recover. Backup, retention and restore testing should be assessed against those requirements.
